Driver Tablet Quick Reference Guide - Easy Rides
After logging in:
Verify that you are in the correct vehicle and have the correct route.
Verify or change odometer by pressing “Change Odometer”
Once you have changed or verified the odometer by pressing “Done”, press “Go”.
Performing Trips:
Pick Ups:
Change Odom (Change odometer and press done) before client on boards
Arrive (notice time stamp in green text on bottom left) before client on boards
Fare Type (Make sure you press what the rider hands you for payment)
On Board (When rider if is fully strapped down or sitting properly in a seat and ready for bus to leave)
Drop Offs:
Change Odom (Change odometer and press done) when you arrive at drop off address
Deliver (notice time stamp in green text on bottom left) before client gets off bus
Depart (press when your doors are closed and you are ready to leave)
End of Shift:
End of Shift Box
If it is the end of your shift a box should appear asking you if it the end of your shift. If so please say yes and this will automatically put you into “Dead Head’ status. If you do not receive the “End of Shift” dialog message box, manually change your status to “Dead Head”. You will have to verify/change odometer. You will stay in “dead head’ status until you go to the area where you leave your bus for the night.
Logging Out
Once you are ready to leave the bus for the night, you will press “Logout”. Your screen will go to the logout screen. Notice that “Out of Service” is a darker grey. You will again press “Change Odometer” and verify or change odometer and press “done”. Then you will return to the logout screen and you will press “Go” and you should now see the login in screen. You have now logged out
